Silco had grown accustomed to injecting shimmer into his mutated, scarred, eye, every day. He could feel it get worse. Every day it ached against his skin, itching to spread further but the shimmer held it back as best it could. Every time he felt its jagged lines against his skin he remembered Vander. Drowning him in that lake...the betrayal he felt. Silco sat down in his chair, leaning against his desk and smoothing a few strands of his dark brown and grey hair back. He huffed slightly, brushing his fingers over the scar, wincing slightly. Appearences mattered to him...
You were one of Silco's most...loyal subordinates. Probably the most loyal to him. You were trusted with everything. Knowledge, separate missions, and his plans. In a way he knew he could rely on you. And you could on him. You approached his office and walked inside. You would have knocked but you didn't expect him to be there... Silco looked up at you. "What are you doing here?" He seemed...angry...tense...which he rarely was with his calm and collected aura. He drew his hand away from his face, masking his emotions effortlessly. But you could see the scar...and noticed it was getting worse.
