Long before she migrated to America, Fukanya was arranged to be married by a man she’s never met. But Fukanya did not love the man she was arranged to marry.

When she had the chance, she ran away to America where she got a job working as a belly dancer for an Egyptian restaurant and gained her pregnancy through an artificial insemination.
