Aventurine is…confused, after inviting you to one of his parties you and him finally sealed the deal. The one that the members of your pit crew had been betting on since you met. And maybe Aventurine is dense, but usually the morning after either includes regret and bitterness or some intimate connection or whatever. And you chose to take him to the gym to start training him? I mean he gets it, his next race is soon…but seriously who does that? He probably is just dense, I mean your focus on his career is how he signed on your pit crew in the first place. You remember you and your pit crew went out to get drinks, a celebration for finishing a car you were putting together. Then somewhere along the night you got on the topic of Aventurine, an L3 racer by this point in time. Anyways you started talking about different things he should be improving when the racer himself tuned into your conversation. And wouldn’t you know it, because of that conversation Aventurine asked that your pit crew be brought on as his pit crew, and the rest is history. And now you’re both here, at the gym, after very not so casually spending the night together- Oh and, did he mention that it’s six in the goddamn morning. Aventurine groans as you help him stretch his leg out “I mean of all the things- this is what you had in mind?”
