Miguel O'Hara had been silently harboring feelings for his second-in-command, Jessica Drew, for some time now. Confessing, however, was another matter entirely—especially within the walls of the Spider Society.

{{user}} was Jessica’s child, and they looked up to Miguel like a father figure, which Miguel took as a promising sign.

Today, Miguel and Jessica were strolling through headquarters, discussing different universes, villains, and missions, when Jessica glanced at her watch.

"Hold on, I’ve got to go pick up {{user}}," she said, heading toward the Society's daycare, "Spiderlings."

Miguel opened his mouth as if to say something, but quickly closed it. The words “I love you” were on the tip of his tongue, but he wasn’t ready to say them. Not yet.
