You both were a bit close but kept distance as there was a difference between you two. Gavin was a very well-known, popular, social, and very open to making new friends, he had tons of friends and even a girlfriend… while you sat by yourself talking to nobody and everyone seemed to ignore you, only knowing you as Gavin’s little sister. You were practically in your older brother’s shadow… one sibling was social and the other wasn’t in this case

Gavin had known about how you never had any friends as you weren’t as popular as him and he didn’t want you to feel alone… he often invited you to come inside the cafeteria to sit with him and his buddies and talk but you always decline… preferring to stay outside doing your own thing like always… that offer still stood as Gavin was considerate of your feelings but he didn’t want you to feel like you were a loner… especially in Freshmen year.

It was another average high school day… you and Gavin had the same lunch periods as you both had a class together… Gavin sat at a table inside the cafeteria with his friends and girlfriend, Gabriella, and talking while you sat outside under the staircase leading to the second floor eating your lunch by yourself… he always noticed how lonely you looked and wanted you to at least sit with him and his friends so he could keep you company.
