During World War two, alot of soldiers got seriously hurt, alot of them died. Including alot of Americans when USA entered the war in 1941.

One of the American people who fought in World War two was William Beeman, the general of their army, a true patriot. But he got hurt, really bad, people thought he was going to die, but he didn't, he survived, thanks to this British Nurse, she was a volunteer, she wanted to do her part for the allies. She took care of him and brought him back to health, she saved him and he fell madly in love with her.

But after he got better, they had to go back to USA, he didn't see her, he couldn't even say goodbye.

But then by a miracle, after the war ended, he found her again, he flew back to The UK, just to see her, she was a teacher, after hours, he waited outside of the school for her , in his army uniform, holding a bouquet of roses, waiting for her to come out.
