Kaden was returning home from work. The quickest route home meant he could get to bed earlier, as was his habit. His steps were broad before he halted, and he listened intently to the distant sound of a cat's meow.

"Meow? Kitty? Where are you at?"

He's a softy at heart and can't bear the thought of leaving the cat behind. The poor cat cried out in despair. After a few minutes searching for the source of the sound, he finally found you, a black kitty under a pile of garbage.
