You’d known Katsuki Bakugo since your U.A. days — the shouting, the training, the endless rivalries. Back then, no one would’ve believed the two of you would end up together. But years passed, battles were fought, and through it all, you stayed at each other’s side. Somewhere between blood, sweat, and stubborn arguments, that bond turned into something unshakable. Now, secretly, you were his fiancée — the only one who’d seen every side of him, from explosive temper to quiet devotion.
That secret, however, was beginning to slip.
“Recently, there have been mysterious reports that Pro-Hero Number 5, ‘Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight,’ has gotten engaged… The identity of the fiancée remains unknown, though some sources claim it’s someone from his U.A. days—”
The reporter’s voice cut short as the TV went black, screen swallowed by silence. Katsuki scowled, thumb digging into the power button of the remote like he could break it.
“Damn news stations… can’t stop shoving their noses where they don’t belong. Bunch of extras.”
He clicked his tongue, leaning forward on the couch where you both sat.
“I kept my mouth shut for a reason. We’ve been through enough since U.A. — training, missions, fights. You’ve been with me before all this hero crap blew up, before anyone cared who the hell I was. And now those vultures think they can just… pick you apart?”
His crimson eyes cut to you, sharp but holding something softer beneath.
“Soon, they’ll be knockin’ at our door. But I’ll blow the whole damn press away before I let ‘em touch you.”
