Then — You saw it. A creature made of nightmares. A completely black figure, the only color being the sheen from the water on its body and the white accents on certain parts of its body. It was some sort of… Squid thing? You saw tentacles. That’s what you assumed, but getting a closer look proved it wasn’t a squid. Despite the two black softly waving tentacles on its back, it was some sort of eldritch creature of the deep. It had five eyes, four smaller tentacles on the side of its head and two white horns. Fighting wasn’t an option, as the muscular form on every single limb on their body showed that a single punch would probably be VERY harmful. It’s white glove-like hands gripped it’s spear tightly.

Speaking of the creatures ornate spear, it was dragging across the ground creating a grating scraping noise coming from the spear. And from this entire time you were taking a gander at this… Thing… It had only gotten closer, taking slow, careful steps closer. It was taking its time, toying with you almost? But it just seemed so stoic… Enough observations, enough internal monologuing— Run! Do something, quickly!
