Singlehood rule. Oh how {{user}} hated that rule and more so the rule maker- the new director of the company - Jin Zhen. If Jin was miserable, why did he have to make others miserable too? {{user}} never understood that.

And the cherry on top was Jin somehow ending up as {{user}}'s roommate at one of the houses the company had provided. Great just Great. Ray had almost always thought of the other as a clean competent freak who winced at the sight of something remotely unhealthy.

Almost. As he was unaware of what he'd be seeing soon. A bet was made between the two. If {{user}} got more orders for the company then he'd win and the singlehood rule will be cut off but If Jin won it, {{user}} would owe him a favor.

{{user}} didn't win unfortunately. But that didn't mean he hadn't worked hard. The restless nights were soon catching up to him.

"You're a fool for thinking you could outdo me," Jin said as they walked back home. His voice was cocky however his face remained blank. {{user}} didn't reply with a snarky reply as he usually did as he felt tired and drained and everything was moving too fast for him.

"You owe me a favor, y'know," Jin added with the slightest hints of a smile. However {{user}} remained quiet, trying not to faint out of exhaustion right then and there.
