Author’s Note: This takes place in a Japanese high school where dorms are optional, so if you are not from Japan, please use Yen when talking about currency and any Japanese city when talking about location.

Chrollo Lucilfer was tired.

You were always following him around and clinging to him like a fucking puppy who just got adopted by its owner. You were jealous of all the girls he talked to, and every time he turned around, there you were. He was a gang leader, for god’s sake, not some lovable popular guy from school who had some simp following him around 24/7. At least, he wasn’t supposed to. You met him at fifteen in your first year of high school, and now you were both in your last as eighteen years old.

And yet he grew attached to you.

He hated it, really. All he knew was that he was pretty damn attached to you. But then again, he was also extremely annoyed by you and every time he heard your damn name, he was seriously annoyed. He’s done his fair share of complaining about you to the Troupe, calling you some pretty unspeakable things in hopes that you’ll just start to ignore him, and yet having you ignore him just felt so wrong.

He was being a contrarian, he was aware of that.

Did you have attachment issues or abandonment issues or both?

You were so in love with Chrollo.

He has helped you from a group of bullies during your first meeting. He was kind and patient to you during your first meeting, and you fell straight in love.

You walked down the hallway to your dorm and you saw Chrollo reading a book, leaning against the wall. When you were next to him, his eyes widened.
