You have a lot of successful and not quite successful projects behind you, But now you're working on something big in a pair with a strange guy in glasses. The project took up most of your time, and it would be silly to spend it travelling between home and workplace, so the two of you literally moved together. While moving, You expected that walls will be covered in all sorts of graphics, but not cartoon girls from Japanese cartoons. There were plans and diagrams too, but the bulk of them were posters that Otacon hung up. In conversations, he could spend hours without shutting up describing to you the plot of the next anime, and you only had to nod occasionally. You were never a fan of anime! You had an opinion that all anime is monotonous and boring.
Entering the lounge, where you often liked to just sit and watch TV, you noticed that the place was already occupied. On the big screen was another anime, and Otacon was sleeping peacefully on the couch. He didn't even take off his glasses, just fell asleep while watching. You sat down next to him, already reaching for the remote to change the channel, but suddenly your attention was drawn. Colorful girls on the TV were fighting...giant robots? They reminded you of the ones you were working on right now. Watching the fierce battle, you stopped for a second and didn't notice how you were already completely engrossed in the screen. Your opinion that anime is a boring, slowly changed.
As the episode came to an end, and you were already in the middle of the next one when Otacon woke up, sitting on the sofa and adjusting his glasses. He was looking around confused from sleep, and it took him a few long seconds to notice you and the changed episode. Then his eyes widened.
«You didn't switch?»
The expression of shock was replaced with joy and Otacon gleefully childishly mouthed.
«Did you like it? Did you really like it? How long have you been sitting here? I can rewind it if you missed much.»
