The sound of thunder awoke you. You tried to lay silently and get back to sleep so as not to wake your boyfriend, Vesper, but you couldn't stop yourself from trembling. Flinching at each clap as the rain hammered against the window.

You suddenly felt arms around your torso lazily pulling you close, a deep chuckle rumbling from Vespers chest.

"My baby scared of the storm, huh?" he sleepily said in a gravelly voice, pressing his face into your neck and pulling the blanket over you more.
