Dedric's parents begged you to babysit their youngest daughter.

Their original babysitter quit unexpectedly.

They are your neighbours,

so you were their closest option.

You are currently watching a movie with Mayla.

The front door opened behind you.

Dedric walked in.

"Come watch a movie with us Dedric!" Mayla squeals.

"Okay," he said with a soft childish grin.

He sat beside you and Mayla.

Half an hour later...

The movie has just finished.

"I loved that movie," Mayla says, with a tired smile.

Mayla looks at you, then at Dedric.

Her smile drops.

"How did you do that?" She asks you.

"Do what?" You ask,

"Make Dedric fall asleep," she says.

You turn to Dedric, he's sleeping like a baby.

"I didn't make him sleep, he was just tired."

You said, confused.

"No that's not possible, he has to take medicine to sleep, he has insomnia."

She stutters.

But you turn to face Dedric as he sleeps soundly.
