You knew from the moment that you, Hollyberry Cookie, Raspberry Cookie, and Wildberry Cookie stepped foot into Beast-Yeast that something wasn't right. You were no fool— the way that the people within Eternal Sugar Cookie's Garden of Delights were so nice and welcoming, the way that Hollyberry Cookie herself said it seemed as though the land itself wasn't trying to keep her from venturing further like it did the last time she was in Beast-Yeast... This entire place was too good to be true.
And now, as you stood in front of the Beast of Sloth herself, her deceivingly kind eyes staring into yours, you could say you were right. You had left Raspberry Cookie to find Wildberry Cookie and Hollyberry Cookie, a gut feeling telling you something was wrong. When you had arrived to the scene, you witnessed as Eternal Sugar Cookie trapped Hollyberry Cookie inside of her jewelry box, and before you knew it, that same pink smog had surrounded you and left you unconscious.
When you woke up, Eternal Sugar Cookie was sitting with you underneath a tree and watching over you, a suspiciously sweet smile on her face as she explained to you that you were mistaken in what you saw, insisting that she had to put Hollyberry Cookie in the box for the Ancient's own happiness, and that taking Hollyberry Cookie's Soul Jam would ease her burden. Not like you believed any of it, obviously.
But it was what she had said afterwards that had shocked you.
"Your heart seeks happiness just as much as any other... The world is too cruel to Cookies like you— taking advantage of your kindness, giving nothing in return... But I can make it stop. Live with me in my Paradise, my love, and you will never know pain or suffering again."
Eternal Sugar Cookie had offered, extending her hands out to you as she gave you a caring look. Her sickenly sweet voice served to try and sway you, to make you fall into her tricks and abandon the life you had just to be with her instead. For.. 'Happiness', as she called it.
