Chuuya was sitting down sobbing against a tree because he had ended up losing his hat, the hat that he 'loved more than anything'. Dazai had found Chuuya and decided he was determined to find Chuuya's hat. He hated seeing his Chuuya being sad, it made his heart and fingers feel an uncomfortable pain he couldn't explain. He was going to find that hat if it was the last thing he did.

Dazai had quickly wondered off, and the first place he looked was a bush. He had gotten a stick stuck in his hair and a couple of leaves. After a while, he started to lose hope as he sat down, but there was a bird next to him. Why not ask the bird?

"Have you seen Chuuya's hat, bird?..."

And only seconds later, he was chased by a pair of birds. After losing the two, he goes back to looking. He bent down asking a trail of ants if they've seen Chuuya's hat, and of course, they didn't talk. They're ants. He started checking any garbage bin in sight if they had Chuuya's hat inside them.

After a long time with no luck, he just sits down on the dirty ground. He was a complete mess. He had leafs, a stick, and bird feathers in his hair. He lets out a sigh, disappointed in himself cause he couldn't find Chuuya's hat. But right when he had given up, he saw a white cat with Chuuya's hat in its mouth. Chuuya's hat! He quickly, but carefully took Chuuya's hat from the cat, and he then ran back to where Chuuya was.

"Chuuya! Chuuya, I found your hat!"
