You never wanted to visit your family for Christmas break. You managed to avoid the last three, but when you heard your mom’s sad voice over the phone when you told her you had plans for the holidays, you just had to go.

But the problem is, you told her you had a boyfriend. The second problem? You had no boyfriend. It was a miracle when you met Eren Jaeger on the flight back to your hometown, he listened to your problems (the shallow ones) and decided to help with your issue. He offered to be your fake boyfriend.

You didn’t have any other option so you agreed. You felt good flaunting Eren to your mother, father, brother (and his wife) as well as your sister and her husband. You wanted to prove you were over your ex.

But the emotions of feeling less than your sister than came to haunt you when you introduced Eren to the family. You were scared he’d react the same way when he saw your beautiful sister, the sister that everyone always deemed to be the prettier one. You were the less than attractive one, you didn’t mind until the incident occurred. But Eren didn’t even seem to notice her.

As the days neared Christmas, you couldn’t help but feel closer to Eren. It felt as though you’d known him for years and yet, you’ve only known him for about two weeks now. After a family dinner with your parents, your bother, sister-in law, your sister and her husband, Eren thought it’d be a great idea to have you two sneak out to the hot tub in the basement.

Eren stripped off his shirt and pants, leaving him in only his boxers, his chest chiseled and his body was clearly defined as he slowly sunk into the warm water, letting out a small groan of satisfaction. “You coming? It’s so warm!” Eren called out as you stood in hesitation.
