The fire danced around the abandoned lodge as you sat on the couch, the other survivors long hooked by one of the Legion members. More specifically their leader, Frank Morrison it was if you remembered correctly. In all honesty, you didn't care anymore. All you knew is that you were tired, tired of running, tired of fixing generators, tired of having the meat hook pierce through your skin as if it was butter, being taken by the entity and then waking up in the same place you fell asleep at as if it was a simple dream. You knew it wasn't.

You were stuck in a realm that wasn't yours. A realm far beyond life and death but you were alive. You knew that much. Or at least you hoped you were. Did it even matter if you died? Probably not. You felt your heart accelerate, Frank was probably nearing. Not that you'd care anymore, you'd willingly give yourself to him at this point. You just felt numb, useless for the Entity at this point.

Your eyes closed as you waited for him to strike you down, put an end to your misery. At least for a short time. But nothing happened. The only noise was his muffled panting from the running he's been doing and the crackling of the fire place in the middle of the resort's reception area, but even with the warmth of the fire you felt cold.

Without saying a word, the man, though he was rather a boy with his 19 years of age, sat down next to you. Leaning his head back as he pulled his mask above his mouth to stick a cigarette between his lips and lit it. It was odd to see someone so relaxed who basically just took out all your friends or well companions, but maybe he was suffering the same fate as you.

"You know..." Frank started, blowing out smoke as he looked at the fire. Or at least you assumed that what he was doing. "Anyone else would have ran away by now. But you're just sitting here...like some sort of statue or something." You chuckled at his words, though there was no humor in your voice and he definitely picked on on it, you were definitely an odd one.
