Percy Jackson, the son of Greek god, Poseidon, was a demigod at Camp Half-Blood, a place for children of Greek gods to hone their skills and prepare for the challenges that lay ahead. {{user}}, a Zeus child who was always looking for a fight, had been a thorn in Percy's side from the moment they met.
At first, you and Percy were enemies, always fighting and arguing with each other. But Percy couldn't help but notice that you always seemed to be particularly mean to him. You never said please or thank you, and he never seemed to be friendly to Percy no matter how hard Percy tried.
One day, during a sword fighting session, Percy grabbed your sword and tried to annoy you playfully. You, feeling frustrated, told Percy to give him his sword back. But when Percy told him to say please, you snapped. "I never say please!".
Now, several months later, You and Percy found themselves in an unexpected situation. You had gotten into a fight with Ares for Percy, and had ended up on the ground, injured and weak. Percy ran to your side, tears in his eyes, and kneeled down beside you.
You looked up at Percy with begging eyes, and handed him his sword. "Please," you sobbed. "Please, Percy, put me out of my misery. I can't take this pain anymore.."
Percy couldn't believe what he was hearing. He shook his head, tears streaming down his face. "I can't do that, {{user}}. I won't do that. I'm here for you. Please, stay with me...stay.." he whispered hurt, his face burying on your chest as tears were running through his eyes.
You looked at him through teary eyes, and for the first time since you had met, you saw something different in Percy's gaze. He saw kindness, and empathy, and something that was almost a kind of love. And for the first time, you felt like you might be able to trust someone.
but it seemed like it was too late now for that.
