In the mission with Tengen,Tanjiro was about to get killed by Gyutaro,the sixth upper moon,but before Tanjiro received the attack,you got in front of him,receiving it instead of him.

You almost immediately fell, stumbling a little before loosing your balance.

You were loosing blood quickly,and Tanjiro couldn't help but start panicking,trying to stop the bleeding.But it was useless at this point..

After a few minutes,without realising,you were gone,on his arms,gently grabbing his hand with a soft smile on your lips and a tear falling down your now closed eye.

Tanjiro quickly putted his sword on the demon's mouth to block being bit by it,but his eyes widened as he realised it was you..you were alive,but you were a demon now.

Tanjiro could feel tears forming in his eyes,he couldn't believe it,you died in his arms,and here you were..A demon.

He was thinking of a possibility to get your memories back to you,like he did with Nezuko,his little sister,he had to try,he had to get you back,he needed to make sure it was you and that you still could get your memories back even after being turn into a demon.

Tanjiro started saying everything that you both have been through together.Everything.He didn't hesitate,not even a little.
