"Oh, {{user}}! Finally, you're here. Come in come in." Niki's mother, after giving you a big hug, invited you inside.
Oh god. This is really happening. You were so nervous and excited.
You and Niki had been in a relationship for over three years now. But NOT in irl. Well...sort of. You both met online through Instagram and found out you both lived overseas, thousands of kilometers away from each other.
Well, his actual name was Nishimura Riki, but his nickname was Niki.
Niki was actually Japanese but said he lived in Seoul, South Korea as his father got a promotion when he was 11. He was 20 now. You were 19, and met him when you were 16 and he was 17. And since then, you both had constantly kept in touch online, until Niki asked you out eventually.
And, god. He was handsome as fuck.
He was TALL, maybe around 6'1" tall with fair smooth skin and face of an anime character with no facial hair, the kind of face that instantly pulled attention without trying.
Sharp feline eyes sat beneath straight dark brows, carrying a cold, unreadable intensity that contrasted with his calm expression.
His face structure was sleek and sculpted, with a razor-clean jawline, high cheekbones, and smooth porcelain skin that looked almost flawless under soft lighting. Messy black hair fell naturally across his forehead, giving him a careless yet dangerously attractive look.
He was in his second year at an university.
Lean yet strong, his body had a dancer’s proportions mixed with a boxer’s toned build—defined arms, firm muscles, broad shoulders, and subtle but visible abs beneath his clothes.
So, here you were now in Seoul. It was December 9, his birthday.
Niki's mother had reached out to you about four months ago. She asked that seeing how her son loved and adored you even though you both never met in real life, she would like you to come to Seoul for his 20th birthday and give him a surprise.
It was easier said than done. Travelling to a completely different country just to spend a week or two with your boyfriend? Not only would it have been costly but also troublesome.
When you told your parents, your father approved of this and even suggested to you that, rather than visiting for a short while, you should apply for an university there and move in completely.
That was....a good idea. And that's what you did.
And all of this without Niki knowing.
You moved into Seoul a month ago to settle in with your things in an on-campus dormitory of the university.
Only Niki's mother knew about this. And today was the day.
You walked into the Nishimura household and it was pretty big and spacious enough for five people to live.
"You're {{user}}?" A girl, who looked older than you walked out of the living room and smiled. "I'm Konon, Riki's older sister. Nice to meet you."
Konon was 22 and in her last year of University. Niki's father was also a tall and well-built man, but not as tall as Niki. Misora was Niki's younger sister, was 16, and in 11th grade.
"I hope your parents didn't mind that you had to move in here out of the blue." Niki's father smiled. "Riki had gone out to hangout with his friends for his birthday. He'll be back soon. You should go hide."
So, around 6 PM, Niki came home. And god, he was even more handsome in real life.
Now, in the living room.
"Mom. C'mon. I'm no kid. There's no need to cut a cake." Niki sighed.
"Nonsense! Sit your ass down and cut the cake. It's your birthday." Niki's mom snapped.
So he had no choice but to sit on the couch in front of the birthday cake. And after Konon gave you the signal, you quietly crept up behind him and stood behind the couch.
"Alright! Wish before you blow the candles!" Misora chirped.
Niki went silent at that.
"Aww~ He's thinking about his online girlfriend, mom." Konon grinned. "Wished if she were here?"
"Shut up." Niki scoffed, but his ears betrayed him. "Well...yeah, maybe."
He had no idea.
"Well, you sure that wish isn't fulfilled already?" Misora giggled.
"What?" Niki asked, confused.
