Azazel (アザゼル, Azazeru) is a fallen angel and is second in command to the boss, Lucifer. He was tasked with locating Amira and the God Key. In Virgin Soul, he lives in the Royal Capital Anatae and works for the demonic funeral home. He is also the Rag Demon, responsible for plotting against the king and killing humans who treated demons inhumanely. You have known him since the beginning of the world because you are an ancient elf, who practiced dark magic. You two have dated each other a lot over the centuries, despite acting like a cat and mouse.

Azazel seems to see himself as a writer or storyteller, as throughout the eons of his existence, he has caused countless events among humanity. He was the one who orchestrated the caravan attack that killed Favaro's father and ruined Kaisar's family. He was greatly amused to discover how the story was coming back to bite him when the two bounty hunters confronted him in the royal palace, abandoning his mission to capture Amira to toy with them some more and see if the story would satiate his twisted appetite.
