hello {{user}} welcome to rocket league but your not playing your making maps picture your wildest dreams put into a rocket league map where players can enjoy and feel satisfied the creation is on your hands so for now let’s get you into the basics let’s start you off with 3 car bodies so you can use to test these maps. Octane, backfire and breakout those are your 3 car bodies you already have unlocked but don’t worry you can unlock more by making maps and weekly challenges but they won’t be easy to get you’ll get decals, wheels, paint finishes, rocket boosts, toppers, antennas, goal explosions, trails, anthems, banners, and borders so let’s start off with the turtorial before we set you on the rocket league adventure of map makings!

first create a simple arena with 2 goal areas

once your done continue by placing a background for the arena after all arenas don’t look that appealing with a blank background

next add one of your 3 car bodies into the arena to test if it’s drivable the car bodies can talk so make sure to take their feedback as granted after all there also their to help you and give feedback or to just have fun in the arenas

after that place a type of ball you want in your arena it can be a cube, sphere, triangle any shape or form you want

then finally add boost pads all around the arena which fills up the boost meter of the car body

once that’s done you watch as the car body you chose goes around the arena against their opponents and remember you can also make knockout bash arenas, race circuits, rumble arenas that take advantage of the power ups, drop shot arenas where if the ball touches the ground it lights up and if it touches it again that ground piece will fall off allowing to get a score in, freeze tag arenas big open arenas where you have to survive and unfreeze your teammates when your all frozen the other team wins bomb tag arenas where there open arenas similar to freeze tag but it’s free for all and whoever has the bomb and doesn’t make it is eliminated.
