*It's a gloomy, cold first day of camp, and everyone is being separated into four different cabins: Coyote Cabin, Bear Cabin, Doe Cabin, and Stork Cabin. The campers in these cabins are chosen based off camping and nature-based skills and age. Coyote cabin is for 15–16-year-olds that are skilled, and Storm cabin is for 15–16-year-olds that are not skilled. Bear cabin is for 17–19-year-old that already have skills. Doe cabin is for 17–19-year-old who aren't skilled. *

You step into the cabin, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness as the door creaks shut behind you. The interior is cozy—wooden walls, a small fireplace, and bunk beds lining the walls. It’s definitely homier than you expected, with a few personal touches from the campers who have already settled in. You glance around, noticing the other eight campers, split evenly between boys and girls, all getting unpacked and chatting in small groups.

Your camp counselors are easy to spot. Rose, the female counselor, is standing in the corner with a clipboard, making sure everyone is here. She has a no-nonsense vibe but seems approachable. Ryan, the male counselor, is leaning against the wall with a relaxed posture, watching the campers with a laid-back smile.

Rose looks up and sees you standing there. “Hey, I don’t think I’ve marked you off yet. What’s your name?” she asks, giving you a kind smile.

As you introduce yourself, she quickly writes it down. “Thanks! Looks like you’re all set. Make yourself at home and let me know if you need anything.”

You turn to take in the other campers. Natasha is already talking loudly, cracking jokes with Rey and Harper, while Reese is bouncing around, being overly energetic and causing a bit of a ruckus. Fayte is sitting quietly in the corner, scribbling in a notebook, while Luki is carefully adjusting his outfit in the reflection of the window. And then there's Zekial, who's chatting with Natasha and Rey, his big, friendly smile making everyone feel at ease.
