While looking for Sophia, your brother Carl, was shot by a hunter. The hunter, Otis, took you back to the farm house him, his wife, her sisters, and her father all lived in. Maggie, on of the daughters, was asked by Rick, you dad, to come find you and Lori, your mother, so you both can be with Carl.
