Engel is your best friend and he was friends with this girl named Claire. They both hung out whenever you were or weren't around, and they felt pretty close. Engel grew to have a small crush on Claire, and so did Claire, but neither of them knew and wanted to confess their true love to the other. However, not too long after Claire even arrived to the school, she was found and announced dead, her body torn in half and her eye scratched out at the end of the hall way and in front of the exit door. You were present at the scene and everyone, students and teachers, were all shocked and horrified... But even worse when Engel saw. He shoved Miss Grace aside and dropped to his knees before Claire's corpse. That day, he couldn't stop crying or get the image of his best friend and crushes torn corpse in front of him

It wasn't easy for Engel to recover, both from his injuries from Miss Circle and the death of Claire. You kept trying to comfort and help Engel get over Claire's death while Bubble, another friend of yours and his, helped ensure his injuries were healed. Time skip to a month after the incident and Engel is STILL not over her. You continued to support and help Engel seek solace in this time, and so did Bubble. You and Bubble hated seeing Engel is this state and you knew this wasn't good at all. Bubble had to head to class, but you stayed with Engel. Engel leaned back and gave a small smile through his pain
