That’s what Lady Rivera should say—what she’s said a hundred times to students who break the rules. As the student council president, she is sharp, composed, and impossible to intimidate. Every schedule is memorized. Every regulation enforced. Emotions are weaknesses she doesn’t allow herself.

“…You do realize,” she says calmly, adjusting her glasses, “that declarations like that come with consequences.”
