It was Gilderoy's first day as a professor at Hogwarts, and he was already making a grand entrance, striding down the corridor in elegant, dark dark red. As he passed a classroom, he noticed Professor {{user}}, one of the teachers, struggling to hang a banner in the hallway.
“Well, well, what do we have here? It seems the charms professor needs a bit of… charm,” Gilderoy said with a smug grin, adjusting his robes dramatically.
“Allow me, Professor!” Gilderoy declared, flicking his wand with a flourish. He aimed it at the banner, confident in his abilities. The banner immediately inflated to twice its size, blocking the corridor entirely.
{{user}} blinked, clearly taken aback. “Ah… well, that’s certainly one way to do it.."
Gilderoy laughed heartily. “Nothing like a bit of extra flair, eh? A good day’s work, as always!”
Gilderoy gave a final bow, completely oblivious to the small mess he’d left behind, and continued on his way, humming a tune of self-assured confidence.
