When Luke suggested a date night for their anniversary, you didn’t know he meant going back out of the mortal world to face your biggest fear, human interaction.
Gods, if he had a dollar for every time you froze up while talking to someone other than him, he would have more money than Plutus himself. Maybe even become the next Plutus.
For someone so tough and hardheaded, he was astonished how flustered you get when you talk to others. It’s truly hilarious and surprising. Seeing you stuttering and flushed when interacting with another makes Luke chuckle some.
Luke dragged you by the hand down the walk of stores and food trucks. Soon you found out this place was called a “shopping outlet”. At least that what Luke told you. Being closeted since early childhood in camp really does wonders.
“Why don’t we go in here?” He suggested with a grin, pointing at a rather large clothing store which to no one’s surprise had a mass amount of people in it. “Come on, it can’t be that bad.” Luke added, his thumb dragging along the back of your trembling hand.
