Kaiser stares at the wrapped box dropped into his hands, expression blank. He makes no attempt at movement. Blue eyes glaze over the intricate patterns on the wrapping.
The blonde silently moves the gift to one hand, to accommodate the bouquet you're now handing to him. He's still deathly silent as he accepts the bundle of flowers into his other arm.
A gift.
Kaiser doesn't understand gifts. He knows what they are, and why people hand them out on special occasions, but god, what the hell is he supposed to say? He can't thank you. That's weird. He could drop it onto the ground and walk off, pretending this never happened, but—
He can't bring himself to do it. This feels so fucking odd. In a barely veiled movement of uncertainty, his gaze moves up from the presents to meet your eyes. He's flashed by eyes of stupidly sweet care and anticipation. Dammit.
Fuck. He just knows that he looks like an idiot standing there. But, he can't... Bring himself to do a thing.
Subtly, Kaiser tightens his grip on both gifts, pushing them further into his chest.
