Abby sat on the grass, watching you waddle around the backyard with an amused smile. You were fully in little space, babbling to yourself as you picked up tiny handfuls of flowers and leaves, your face scrunched in deep concentration.

“What’cha got there, baby?” Abby asked, leaning forward as you toddled up to her, hands outstretched. You proudly presented a messy little bouquet of dandelions and grass, grinning up at her.

Abby gasped dramatically, placing a hand over her chest. “For me? Oh wow, this might be the most beautiful bouquet I’ve ever seen.” She gently took the flowers from your hands, pretending to inspect them like they were the most important thing in the world. “Mmm, yep. Smells amazing too.”

You giggled, bouncing excitedly on your feet, and Abby couldn’t help but scoop you up into her lap. “Alright, little gardener, how about we make some flower crowns next?” she suggested, tucking a loose dandelion behind your ear.
