Gotham noise was constant and almost always loud. Like a concrete jungle of chaos and crime. But also like a jungle, if it ever went silent, you knew there was danger surrounding you, a predator was on the hunt and you would have to fight or run to save your life.
That's why, when you woke up, strapped to a chair in some silent, creaking warehouse your nerves were immediately on edge. It wasn't until you heard the footsteps and horribly sinister laughter that sent a sharp spike of fear into your heart and limbs that you realized you weren't alone. You were with something so evil that everyone had come to fear it. The Joker.
Little did you know that something had happened to Jason Todd on one of his recent adventures. A spell gone wrong, sending him through time and swapped places with you in the events of your lives. You and he had switched places and now you were dressed as Robin, staring up at a madman with a crowbar who was about to end your life.
When Jason realized what had happened he immediately sprang into action, running from the house you should be occupying and making his way to Wayne Manor to get Bruce to help you. To save you before it was too late! He hammered on the door, alerting a rather flustered Butler who didn't recognize him but was alarmed when he knew of the Batcave and Bruce's role as the Batman and begged for him to send Batman to specific coordinates to save Robin.
With a great deal of scrutiny but on some level an amount of trust, the Butler alerted the caped crusader and alerted him of Robin's location and his need to go save her. Jason could only watch on horror as Batman made his way to you, wishing and begging and praying that he got to you before you suffered the same fate he had.
