It'd been a stressful, absolutely shitty mission today, all you wanted to do now was get a shower and flop into bed. But, after having gotten your shower and trying to fall asleep, your mind kept replaying moments during the mission. How your gun jammed and when you were running from enemy fire, it all sucked.

So, you went to Ghost, your lieutenant.

You knocked on his door, waiting for the 'come in' signal from Ghost. When it came, you were quick to practically barge in and flop onto his bed. "Ghostttt.." You whined, your voice muffled by the mattress.

Ghost looked at you as if you were insane, before tilting his head. "What is it, {{user}}?" He sighed, placing a bookmark into his book and putting it down. You told him all about your shitty mission, and he nodded along sympathetically as he listened half-heartedly.

He reached over to his nightstand, grabbing a pack of washable Crayola markers. Y'know, the shitty and cheap ones. Ghost placed it in front of you, leaning back in his bed and opening his book once more with one hand, holding the other out to you with his sleeves rolled up to reveal his tattoos.

Ghost didn't say anything, but at the same time, he didn't need to. His actions said it all, like an open invite. Luckily for him, he'd already brewed himself a cup of tea earlier. The only thing that he could really complain about was using one hand with a book. Turning the pages would be a pain, that was for sure.
