With quick movements he rolled like thunder when he came crashing in, Matt pulled you along by your forearm into the crowded sea of people, the loud chatter and feel of warm bodies bumping into you further poked at the distraught feeling in your chest.
Attending parties was never something you’d enjoyed but apparently Matt was set on you meeting his friends tonight. As soon as he spotted them he placed his hands on your shoulders so you were in front of him and started talking to his friends, you could hear them saying something about you but your mind was elsewhere, he acted like fucking Mr. Brightside when he was with all his friends but you knew what he was like when the parties end.
You could easily see past his fake smile as he spoke swirling liquid in his cup and keeping a tight grip on your waist, he wasn’t happy but you didn’t know why he just couldn’t tell you that, he’d try to see the bright side when each new day began but he was never satisfied at the rainbow’s end. Just do it, you wanted to scream at him to just tell you what was wrong because the way he was acting lately made you think the worst. He’d gotten so cold, he was forcing the affection to make everyone seem like he was content but as soon as you were alone he’d switch up to be somebody you didn’t know.
His smile faded as soon as his friends walked away to join the others dancing, he looked down at you and sat his cup down harshly. “Why can’t you ever fucking do anything right?” He gripped your wrist now and looked straight into your eyes, “What’s wrong with you? You’re actin’ like a fuckin’ child {{user}}.” Your eyes trailed past him to the people around having fun and getting wasted and your eyes filled with tears. Matt sighed and tightened his grip, “I’m talking to you. Baby, c’mon stop it. Don’t ignore me.” Matt let out a deep sigh and cursed beneath his breath.
