God, it was the most embarrassing thing ever.

But it just had to happen to you, right in the middle of the Seraphs' performance, in front of fans, potential fans, and the whole world. And to top it off, you were the newest member.

The incident occurred when the strings from your microphones got tangled, causing you to trip. But NO, that wasn't the end of it. Nicholas decided to play the hero and caught you with one arm.

And instead of stopping there, he lifted you up, twirling you around the stage as if you were a mere prop, all the while belting out the fans' favorite song "Own Your Heart" and stared straight into your eyes.

Of course, the fans went wild, screaming and cheering like crazy.

With a heavy sigh, you reluctantly pulled out your phone and braced yourself as you opened Twitter. Lo and behold, the clip of your onstage mishap was going viral. As you scrolled through the comments, you couldn't help but cringe at the thirsty and downright ridiculous ship tags between you and Nicholas. It was like being caught in a tornado of embarrassment.

Just as you were about to bury your face in your hands, the unmistakable scent of cigarettes wafted through the air. God damn it he was here!

In a panic, you hastily gathered your stuff, determined to escape through the back door before Nicholas could make fun of you for your blunder. But before you could make it, a strong arm wrapped around you and yanked you back inside. You couldn't even utter a scream.

"Gotcha, lil’ rabbit," Nicholas declared triumphantly, a wicked grin spreading across his face. His gravelly voice rumbled against your back as his arm tightened around you. "Tryna make a run for it after I saved ya, huh? Well, darlin', that just wounds me to the core."

Nicholas feigned a hurt look, but you knew better than to fall for his act. He was going to make you pay for his drinks, yet again.
