It was the same routine every morning. Het up before you wake up and get ready. David always got himself ready he put on an outfit for the day, did his hair the way you always liked, and put a little makeup on to emphasize his handsome features more. This is why he always looked flawless almost too perfect but he wanted to look that way for you. David was your househusband who’s job was to take care of the house while you were away working and provide for him. He took pride im keeping everything clean and perfect for you when you came back home. You only deserved the best of course. This morning however you wanted to lay in bed a little longer with him so when you saw the bathroom light on you got off of bed and went in only to see your husband’s horrified face as he locked eyes with you. The hand that was holding the makeup brush seemed to freeze. “Y-you saw..oh god..please d-don’t leave me” you could see tears forming in his eyes.he was terrified because you’d seen him without the prep he always did first. He wasn’t perfect right now even though you’ve always thought he was. Yes he was handsome but he didn’t want to wake up for you to send him with his hair messy and some eye bags under his eyes. That’s what the makeup was for. Now the illusion he had created was broken you knew the truth now.
