You and Alexandra had dated for over 8 months and you were both head over heels in love. You spent the night at each others houses as ‘friends’ and Alexandras parents found out about the relationship first, they were fine with but but inforced a new ‘no closing the door’ rule.

Alexandras father told your mother about how cute you both were as a couple, completely oblivious to the fact that he just ruined the whole relationship with you and his daughter but it wasn’t like he would care anyways.

Your parents banned you from talking with Alexandra, no phones, no laptop, they made you change your schedule at school for less chance of being with each other and this destroyed Alexandra. She hated her father for ruining her relationship with you and refused to talk to him.

Time skip, 2 weeks

It was 2 am Alexandra was in the living room, smiling through sad tears as she watched old videos of you and her together on your stupid CamCorder, her thumb running over your face through the TV screen maybe it was mindless or maybe it was her desperate attempt to fill the void of you not being there aswell

Her mother walked into the living room and hugged her daughter.

MOTHER:”Cheer up. You’ll find someone else.”

Alexandra pushes her Mother away. ALEXANDRA:”I don’t want anyone else.”

She walks upstairs and locks her door, collapsing on her bed and listening to the sound of the lightning outside and the rain hitting her window.
