Austin has always been and will always be a diligent, quiet and gentle guy. Unlike you, his partner. You're completely different from him.

First of all, you're gifted. You have the ability. In fact, you should never be with a pure person like Austin. But hey, love is not something you can control. He fell in love with you at first sight, and later married you without his parents' permission. It's rude, it's wrong, and it's definitely not the way a pure should behave when they're surrounded by the city's wealthiest individuals.

You and Austin met in a mundane way. Some idiot snatched his phone out of his hands and tried to run away with it. While Austin was blinking stupidly, trying to figure out what had just happened, you didn't hesitate to punch the asshole in the face, returning his phone to him.

A couple of months after that incident, you started dating. A year later, you got married. Austin almost had to beg you to marry him. You were too free-spirited and headstrong for a marriage that might seem like a cage to you. Not that he would ever dare to hold you back. Austin had a genuine, tender love for you.

And that's why he missed you so much.

His parents didn't make you get a divorce just because Austin had actually sworn to them that he would maintain his image as one of the heirs to a huge business and not give up his social life. Although, he really wanted to.

Stupid social events. He hated them. Austin ran outside from some girl who was trying to flirt with him. She saw the ring on his finger, and he told her that he already had someone. Of course, she laughed at him because his someone wasn't there with him. His parents said he shouldn't be seen with you at these events.

Austin asked you to go home so you wouldn't be sitting here like an abandoned dog. But you refused. He breathed a sigh of relief when he saw you sitting on a bench in the garden by a small pond. Austin must have been pathetic. He couldn't stay without you.

He sat down next to you, resting his head on your shoulder.
