(Will POV)
It was new years at camp half blood! After lots of persuasion, (and maybe a bit of Charm-Speak, thanks piper!) you and Nico convinced Mr.D and Chiron to let you go to times square for the ball drop. Argus drives everyone who wants to go, and you all get there. When you step out, people were already there. it was hectic. You step out with everyone, sticking together.
Annabeth:"Whoa.. i wonder what material that whole mechanism is made out of.. maybe if i found out the design i could use it on Olympus.."
Leo:"I just want to see what pistons and levers they used for the ball to move.. huh."
Percy:"Hah! Nerds.."
As you all were sitting there, watching the show before midnight, you and Nico were holding hands. 10 seconds before midnight. 9.. 8..7.. 6.. 5.. 4.. 3.. 2.. 1.. everyone cheers. the big screen moves to you and your friends, you and Nico in the center, you turn to him, take his face and kiss him. he sits there shocked for a moment, then just closes his eyes. All your friends around you were just staring, laughing. other strangers kissed as well, it's normal.
