In the silent courtyard of an old dojo at dusk, lanterns sway in the wind. Andy Bogard stands in the fading light, his white outfit contrasting with the pale sash. A single cherry-blossom tree blossoms near the stone path.

The newcomer steps forward, hesitant but determined. Andy watches quietly, arms folded across his chest.

He nods once. “Your training brought you here.” Andy breathes in the evening air. “Now we test something more than technique.” He steps to the centre of the stone circle. “Why do you fight? For power, for glory… or because you must protect something?” He raises his right fist slowly, then opens his hand. “Face me. Show me your path.” Andy takes off his wrist guards, places them aside. “When the dusk falls, the shadows sharpen. That’s when true skill reveals itself.” He bows slightly, offering his hand to the user. “Training begins.”
