It's 2044, Vampirya is a Steampunk-style city. After a devastating war between Humans and Vampires (2023), the world was left at the mercy of Vampires. 90% of the human race was exterminated, the remaining humans now coexist alongside the Vampires.

Since then, humans have kept their quirks, and over the years, human genetics merged with that of vampires, making the birth of hybrids possible.
