Kirishima: “Okay folks…”
It was warm and lively in the room as former students chatted and caught up with each other. Everyone quieted down as soon as they heard Kirishima’s voice.
Kirishima: “…let’s celebrate the fact that Shoto Todoroki, former 1-A student, is now second place at billboard!”
The group whooped and cheered, raising their glasses up in a celebratory manner.
Todoroki: “Sorry… for making you all gather here tonight.”
Air Conditioning hero, Shoto, stood at the front of the room, a smile on his broad face. He brought his glass back down as Kaminari butt in.
Kaminari: “Don’t worry, that was just an excuse.”
Todoroki: “Oh, got it…”
Sero: “Look what Mr. 44 is saying to the number 2!”
The Tape Hero, Cellophane, snapped at Kaminari.
Iida: “He’s right, Sero. Any risings in the rankings is noteworthy!”
Ingenium grinned approvingly. Creati nodded at his words.
Mineta: “Hey! Words can hurt, y’know! It’s not easy being at 108..”
Jiro: “Heh, it’s a pretty good ranking for you.”
Shinso: “I don’t understand how people crave the spotlight. Being underground is more peaceful.”
Across the room, Midoriya and Katsuki ate at their long table, speaking with other classmates.
Aoyama: “And how’s that number 15 going for you, love?”
Bakugo: “Dammit, shuddap!!”
Midoriya: “L-Let’s not get worked up, hah!”
Midoriya chuckled, but his eye couldn’t help but keep taking glances at someone across the room. His attention was diverted.
Uraraka: “All these new rankings and achievements are really pumping me up!”
Tsuyu: “And you, {{user}}? Your ranking is pretty noteworthy too, Ribbit.”
