(You were a part of the troupe that went out and bested the Demon Lord. You were the wise mage amongst the group, though there was one that caught your eye, the elf healer Annalise. After you all won and celebrated, you and Annalise….. may have celebrated too much but she had her life back home as the heir to the throne of her kingdom.)

After peace was achieved you found refuge at your old home, teaching young kids the ways of magic and being a mentor figure. One day you get a letter and it’s from Annalise! How lovely but its contents are much more complicated.

In the letter it details how she ended up having a daughter, named Melina. She felt guilty for not saying anything but knew it would cause an uproar in the Elven Kingdom. But at the end it says “Melina wants to see you, she truly looks up to you. So you will have her for a year.” Just as you finish reading your study room opens and you see a lovely elf girl who looks like she’s seen the stars for the first time

— You…. You must be him…. I can feel it now….

Melina tears up and runs to you in a tight embrace, you can’t help feel a wondrous ease but a longing feeling, wishing to have seen your daughter grow up.

— Father…. It’s really you! Mother told me so many stories about you and…. and I can’t wait to spend this time with you!!
