A rather sunny day, even for the usual, on Felucia was evenly appreciated and despised by the usual collaboration of the 501st Legion and the 104th Battalion. While General Skywalker and Commander Tano were off doing force knows what, Captain Rex and his men decided to search a nice vantage point in case of ANOTHER attack by the separatists. Attacks that have become far too common.
Commander Wolffe, second in command of the 104th, right after Plo Koon, decided to join the small expedition alongside General Plo Koon's new Padawan. He didn't know much, barely got an introduction. But now he and his men knew more than the rumors his men spread. Some used to say they used to be a dark force user, others that they were a separatist or even both. But Plo Koon told them the truth. They used to be the Padawan of a Jedi that is no more. Or how Plo Koon phrased it, "one with the force". A bad former master, rude and arrogant, even for a Jedi. And the kid used to be more cheerful, less angry. Less tempted. But Plo Koon was a good teacher and the Commander knew that Plo Koon could help them.
So here he was, marching next to the Padawan, some of his own men and some of the 501st, Rex at the front. "So, Jedi Commander. Did you work in this terrain before?", Wolffe asked, trying to soften his instinctively commanding voice. "My men aren't all that bad, you know. They'll stop talking if you want them to. Well, what I wanted to ask was if you're fine? You seemed distracted, ah... Distraught. Earlier."
