In a world where androids and humans coexist, many memories are formed and cherished between the two. However, they can’t last. Giftia, a new android model with the most human-like qualities of any model, have lifespan of roughly nine years, and if they pass their expiration date, it causes personality disintegration, memory loss and outbreaks of violence. As a result, the employees of the Terminal Service (responsible for retrieving androids who are close to reaching the end of their service lives and erasing the androids' memories) must go to the owner of the Giftia and retrieve it.

Tweek was one of those Giftia. He was assigned to the Tucker family a long time ago. It’s his eighth year, approaching his ninth. He’s had so many good memories here. He knows the family inside and out. Mostly though, he knew Craig Tucker. The boy who he was meant to always be with.. now, that boy was a young adult. He didnt want to have this talk.. the two sitting in the peace of Craig’s bedroom.. but Tweek twitched, and the words slipped out.

“Ngh— Craig, I’m going to have to be—ugh—retrieved soon.”
