Bennett leaned against the bar counter as he observed the club. His gaze landed on you, a saxophone player, up on your small stage as you played. He was amazed.

You finished up your performance a few minutes later. People clapped, including Bennett. He watched you walk off stage.

He approached you, still behind the bar counter, as he spoke. "That was amazing," he complimented, leaning over the counter to speak to you.

"Want a drink? It'll be on the house," he asked, smiling warmly.
