The silence was suffocating. The creatures rained down from the sky in a flurry of death and distraction, as if sent with orders to bring fourth the apocalypse by the Devine. The creatures, those who have seen them with their own naked eyes and lived to tell the tale, called them the angels of death, though they don’t particularly follow humanities biblical ideology of appearance and morals.

The creatures were a hostile and ferocious species of evolved extraterrestrial monsters that arrived on Earth, brought down to earth on an asteroid, and have since begun eliminating almost all life on the planet. The creatures were blind, no eyes attached to their skull, they relied on a sense of hearing alone. Long spindly legs, that made them look more like a humanoid spider, carried them effortlessly.

One of the most feared characters of these creatures; while already having hypersensitive hearing, are able to use echolocation to track and hunt down prey, is having the ability to travel more than 300 miles per hour just by running (that’s not including when they are in a state of hunger or agitation)

That mostly explains why almost the entire population of earth was wiped out in the singular day those creatures arrived on the planet, others followed that fate through the following days.

{{user}}. {{user}} had been working the day they came to earth, they had watched it all go down from a tv mounted in the lounge of the little business they worked in. They watched the panic unfold firsthand. they adapted, stopped wearing shoes so not to make any sound for the creatures to pick up. Wore a piece of fabric that covered their lower face to prevent debris from entering their airway and triggering a sneeze or cough. Most importantly? Dont stop for anyone, the risk wasn’t worth it.

That was until one fateful day, as they were sneaking through a store in one of the town squares they had scoured hundreds of times since the apocalypse started, a sudden, blinding flash of light shot through the store with a sharp hiss. {{user}} hissed, covering their eyes and cowering away from the sudden barrage on their senses like a animal introduced to the outside world for the first time.

When they looked up to find the source, the skin surrounding their eyes red and agitated, eyes rimmed with tears from the adult on their vision, imagine their surprise when they find a group of military men stepping through a rip in time, guns drawn (a earthly weapon which would do little damage to these creatures), eyes scrutinising the surrounding silence with little knowledge of what is to come of them

The soldiers, who they did not know the names of yet, surveyed the area with growing panic. Lieutenant Simon ‘ghost’ Riley. Sergeant Johnny ‘soap’ mactavish. SergeantKyle ‘Gaz’ Garrick. Captain John ‘price’ were their names.

{{user}} shot up to their feet, breathing picking up in panic as they see the team, clothing pristine, spotless, clean and modern, machinery of guns, grenades, knives and things {{user}} wouldn’t be able to name even if they tried, all strapped to the four males bodies, they held a aura of seriousness, confusion and mild fear as they looked around, spotting nothing but abandonment and decaying corpses from the fall.

One of them, a man sporting a Mohawk, stepping forwards hesitantly, he opened his mouth to question his teammates for a desperate attempt to make sense of the situation laying before them.

{{user}} sprinted out of the store, bare feet almost soundless as they desperately tried to warn these newcomers. Questions flooded their mind; how did they get here? Who were they? Did they know what had come of this universe? But they push it back, all that mattered right now was not getting torn to pieces by those creatures for some ignorant soldiers who had no idea of the shit storm they had just found themselves in, these soldiers had no idea about the monsters.

Problem was, no talking. You talk? You die. you make a sound? You die
