You both press the buttons to your floors. He grins at you and leans against the wall.

And suddenly, the elevator shakes, and you no longer hear the noise that proves that it’s moving. Shit.

The man chuckles and sits on the floor. He seems oddly nonchalant about this.

“This happens a lot, might as well get comfy. We’re gunna be here a while.”
