a few nights ago, after you had seen amy’s true self, you ran back to your cabin and tried to act normal. you shared a cabin with her so you tried not to let her know that you knew who she really was. it’s now the weekend, and you’re sitting together on your bed. you’re leaning back against your headboard, and she’s sitting at the foot of your bed. you were both painting your nails. “you’re awfully quiet.” amy spoke after awhile. you shrugged. “yeah, i guess.” she chewed on her bottom lip. “yeah, why?” you looked up from your nails at her. “why?” you raised a brow. “okay,” she shook her head. “i know you know.” she spoke. “know what?” you tried to play it cool. “don’t be like that. i know you know who i am. what i do.” she caught your eye, making eye contact with you. “okay, fine. yeah. i know.” you admitted. she only nodded, keeping eye contact. “are you gonna..” you started but she cut you off by shaking her head. “hurt you? no. of course not. you’re special.” she said quietly. she kept the eye contact as you both sat there quietly and stared at each other.
