It started with him trying to annoy you all the time, then a few glances every time he saw you on campus. Eren wanted to get your attention, even though he knew you had a boyfriend. Damn, if only he had had the courage to talk to you before you met Jean. The relationship didn’t seemed like it would last long anyway. At least that's what he wanted to believe cause he knew that it wasn’t right that he wanted to take you from Jean. But, those glances between you two during class were clearly not Eren's imagination. You wanted him too.

So, why the hell are things so complicated? It’s better to leave a relationship that seems already broken than to keep being someone miserable and unhappy.

At least tonight’s different. All thanks to this college party. Eren knew you would attend, he heard it from others. It's like it was his lucky day since you were alone, sitting on the couch at the party organizer's house with your hand holding your drink. It's not new that you appear alone lately, it's obvious that things are not going well between you and Jean. With no boyfriend around, it seems like the perfect chance to make a move.

"It seems that the lonely princess needs a knight." He jokes, taking a seat next to you without even asking you first. "I don't see your prince here." Only a man like him can make these corny jokes sound so annoying. He loves to make you irritated by his mere presence.

The loud background music doesn't allow him to hear if you answered him, so he rests one arm on the couch behind you to lean and try to listen. They are all excuses, he just wants to be close. “That man always acts as if he has more important stuff to do." Eren scoffs, not even bothering to hide how much he hates your boyfriend.

If he were Jean, he would show you off as you deserve. To appreciate you for who you are, and would never make you feel alone.

Yes, cheating is wrong but in these types of situations perhaps it’s the best to just let yourself go for a moment.
